What Our Customers Say
Took my husband back here for his birthday after being away for almost a decade when we used to bring our kids. The nostalgia of the track, the fast go karts, and the breeze blowing in your face was just the right amount of fun. I highly recommend this for families, couples, friends, and especially team building corporate and social group outings since the entire track can be rented out. Truly one of Crofton's best things to do!
My kids Love this place, as a parent I love the price, and the staff were very nice, they even teach the small kids to drive for a better experience...
It's been a long time, but it's still great. I loved it me and my kids had a great time.
My granddaughters loved it. They wanted to go back the next day! The person who sold the tickets was very polite and professional! Highly recommended for anyone!!!
This was a fun day for our team..The weather was amazing so of course we had a great time.
Friendly employees and with a fun track. It is pretty expensive for two people doing 10 laps each.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I didn't know to put my tickets in the steering wheel and lost them on the 3rd lap. The staff said dont worry just keep track of your laps and have fun ( honor system). They are very much about safety. Awesome place highly recommend. We will be back.
Fun for whole fam if you don't mind the wait. Not the fastest karts but still a good time. Might come back through.
My family goes here once a week we love it! They never disappoint!!! My five year old always thinks she is driving !!!! We love this place!
It had been such a long time since we visited go kart raceway but we(adults) had a blast. I asked this nice young man to take photos of my group which he did but to my surprise he took a picture of himself as well. We had such a good laugh. He was a gem. I didnt catch his name but im sure someone knows him. Thank you for making our experience memorable.
Staff was excellent, had a young a driver that was unsure and your team helped one step at time.
My 3 year old daughter just had the time of her life here. The person manning the double carts was very helpful getting us situated in the go kart. I’ll definitely have to take her back from time to time.
This is a really fun place and easy to enjoy even with smaller kids because of the availability of double carts. What makes this place even more worthwhile is how friendly and helpful the staff are. I've had trouble figuring out how many tickets to buy and in what combination and they are always helpful. They're even fast to give refunds if you buy too many tickets.
Above average go karts. You need to give one ticket per lap. You will likely have multiple tickets. Rip them in advanced so you're ready each lap. Not all cars are equal. Ask a worker which ones are good. Indeed of holding gas the entire time and then slamming breaks, consider feathering the gas pedal to slow down.
Always such a great experience. Never seems to be crazy busy. Prices are pretty decent. Staff super friendly.
TLDR - AWESOME TRACK!! My daughter and I went on a go-karting road-trip last week, and this was our first stop. Leading up to the trip, I was excited about this location, but found the pricing a bit hard to swallow. However, once we arrived, we purchased 50 laps at their lowest rate per lap, and had an absolute blast!! We took a break mid-day, went out to eat and returned for more. We then saved six laps each and came back for the evening experience. Each visit that day was fantastic. We ended up cancelling our next stop and got another 50 laps the following day. My 10 year old daughter had so much fun it was worth every penny! Some notes: 1. When we arrived it had just finished raining. They promptly dispatched a half-dozen employees with squeegees and backpack blowers and re-opened in no time. It was just slightly damp on a few turns which amplified the fun! 2. There are TONS of restaurants within a few miles, so although they don't offer any substantial concessions, it's a not an issue. 3. The staff was great - we didn't need to ask anything of them, but I'm sure they would have quickly addressed any concerns if we'd had any. I didn't see any of them (all teenagers, save one) on their phones or off-task. 4. This isn't really a negative per se, but there was a summer camp there for part of our second day which found lots of kids on the track, many of which were timid. Although one can pass on this track, it doesn't have a real competitive feel to it, and being hyper-aggressive around a bunch of first-timers didn't seem appropriate. So, we went out for ice cream, came back and the group was on their way out. 5. This segues into a possible issue for some - the track is awesome and you can pretty much run it flat-out the whole time, but by its nature of stopping every lap, it's not a great destination for a competitive outing. You still get the adrenaline of riding someone's bumper, and setting up for passes, etc, but if you're looking to flat-out race other drivers, this isn't the place for that. All in all, 5/5 for my daughter and I. We will definitely find our way back at some point!
First time here. We had won an auction basket with 25 tickets. The attendee asked us if we had ever been before and then explained how it worked. It is unlike other go kart places we have been to. Usually, we pay for a lap, get in and go until the karts shut down and we have to bring them back to the exit. This is continuous play. You buy however many tickets you want beforehand and give them to each person in your party. There is a pocket on the steering wheel to store your tickets. Going around the course takes about 2 or 3 minutes. It is the same distance as other courses we have been to. The only difference is when you get done, you can pull into the stop lane and exit the kart. Or you can go in the toll lane and pass up a ticket to go around the course again. Each of our children had 8 tickets and hubby and I just had 3, which was more than enough for us. Our teens enjoyed their time continually driving and it was the right amount of time for this adventure. We are already planning our next trip.
We had a great time yesterday! Staff is very friendly and helpful and they're AMAZING with young kids! My son just turned 10 and hes high functioning autistic, has adhd, and has a nuerological disorder called apraxia which effects speech (severe) and body coordination (mild) . I was a little nervous at first because my son is over the height limit for a double kart, and hes never driven by himself before but hes been wanting too. They so kindly offer to take first time drivers off to the side to teach them how to drive until they staff and kid are both comfortable with their driving abilities. I absolutely LOVE this because we WANTED him to drive himself, the only reason we wanted a double kart the first lap or 2 was so I could show him the track the first lap. And then teach him from the passenger seat. So I was very happy about that cause most places dont take the time to do that! They were very kind to him as well! The young teens were so sweet and the adult woman was SUPER sweet and encouraging! Loved her! My son had THE BEST time of his life. He even said it was his favorite thing he did on his birthday week. We did 5 laps as a family of 3 and my 10 year old did a last lap all by himself! He didn't want to leave and has talked about it non stop asking to go back! He actually did really good and has now found a new hobby! Its an hour from our home in southern md but totally worth the drive. I also think the prices are very affordable and reasonable in this day and age, which i also love because it makes it accessible to normal everyday people. They also have a shaded picnic area so we packed a lunch, and sat down to eat and my kid was entertained because he got to watch the other people drive on the track. We will be back soon and its probably going to be a regular once or twice a month activity while the track is in season!
I loved it and the pay is not very expensive and I love it as a teen. I will be going tomorrow too
A time was had here! We surprised my son with a visit here, and he loved it! We went around 10 times together, and had a ball. I didn’t use all my tickets, so I was thrilled to learn that they don’t expire. We will be back! 🙌🏾
Old school go-karting, in all the best ways. Great staff. Friendly, competent, and attentive. Highly recommend.
Would've been great (5-star) if the track was a complete loop where you can do more than one lap uninterrupted, and not end where it starts... within a "pit lane".
Nice, Fun, Different. Went with my family and we rode around and raced each other fun place.
